Welcome at the CHIO website

CHIO Rotterdam is the largest international outdoor event in the Netherlands and the oldest international top sports event in Rotterdam, City of Sports. In 2012 the 64th edition will take place from June 20th until June 24th. The show jumping and dressage competitions are expected to be of great importance for the team selections for the Olympic Games in London, later in 2012.

Many of the top dressage riders have expressed their positive feedback on the accommodation and organization of the FEI European Dressage Championships in August 2011. Most likely they already marked the dates of the CHIO Rotterdam in their calendars for 2012.

The show jumping riders were also pleased with the new setup this year and will be happy to return in 2012. For sure riders from Germany, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland and Sweden will travel to Rotterdam as they will compete in the 2012 season of the FEI Nations Cup. 

Apart from top-level classes, the CHIO Rotterdam also presents many classes for regional and national talents. And of course many shows, a shopping area in the Stroodorp, restaurants, bars and entertainment will make sure the Kralingse Bos is the place to be in June 2012.
